Besides Electronics and Communication, animation and computer graphics have been one of my greatest interests. I started with small primitive flash animation when I was 15-16 yrs. When I came to college I started making flash presentation for various events and this was when i really started taking animation and graphics as my serious hobby. I learned some more animation soft wares and then i started with the 3D ones. Swift3D v3 was the first one in which I tried to animate a bullet shooting from a gun- the matrix style. However the shape of the objects was completely cubical, but I was so fascinated and excited by the flexibility of the 'Camera' movement that i remember that entire night spending just experimenting with different angles. Swift3D is a good software and the later ones must be better (couldn't get time to check them out). However the best was yet to come for me. I came to know of this software- Poser a couple of years of ago. When i first saw it, it didn't impress me much. But when i made the first render, it just blew me away completely. Jessica, James and Hit man in the Poser 3D video below are the renders from Poser. As i became more and more familiar with Poser, i started liking it so much that i use to keep my computer on the entire night just to render one pic. The ability to animate the objects like clothes and hair of the characters is just splendid. My computer is a Pentium D with 512 DDR2 RAM and still i had the courage to render 1024 x .. pixel images (which takes around 30 minutes to render a simple pic with 3 shadow maps and average of 5 environmental objects). Such was the craze then. I still love making such graphics and animation and continue to make some in my free time. If it wouldn't have been my sheer educational interest in Elect and Comm, i would surely have taken up computer graphics and animation as a profession.
